From Longueuil, the truck follows Highway 20 to Mont-Joli, then Route 132 through the Matapédia Valley. It enters New Brunswick at Campbellton and follows Chaleur Bay on Route 11 to Bathurst. The trip is about 815 km.

When leaving Longueuil, clear the driveway or the space in front of your door the day before so the truck can park as close as possible. In an Old Longueuil tower or near the metro, book the service elevator and loading dock with building management.
Bathurst, on Chaleur Bay, is the gateway to the Acadian Peninsula. Its population is split between French and English speakers, and the city is known for Youghall Beach, its trails and the Nepisiguit River.

From Longueuil, the truck gets straight onto Highway 20 and follows it through Lévis, Rivière-du-Loup and Rimouski to Mont-Joli. Route 132 then crosses the Matapédia Valley through Amqui to Matapédia; in New Brunswick, Route 11 runs through Campbellton and Dalhousie and follows Chaleur Bay to Bathurst. The route stays entirely in Canada.
Allow about 9 hours of driving, not counting breaks: the trip is done over two days. New Brunswick is on Atlantic time, one hour ahead of Quebec. The date and arrival window are agreed with you when you get your quote.
A move to northern New Brunswick is best prepared a few weeks ahead: a detailed inventory, boxes labelled by room and a list of valuables you carry yourself. Also plan to exchange your driver’s licence, register your vehicle and sign up for provincial health insurance.
