When leaving Longueuil, clear the driveway or the space in front of your door the day before so the truck can park as close as possible. In an Old Longueuil tower or near the metro, book the service elevator and loading dock with building management.
Baie-Comeau, on the North Shore, was founded in 1937 around a paper mill; today its aluminum smelter and port make it an industrial hub. The city brings together the Marquette sector to the west and the Mingan sector to the east.

It continues on Route 138 through Baie-Saint-Paul and La Malbaie, crosses the Saguenay on the free Baie-Sainte-Catherine–Tadoussac ferry (about 10 minutes), then follows the North Shore through Les Escoumins and Forestville to Baie-Comeau.
Allow about 8 hours 10 minutes on the road, ferry included, not counting breaks: a trip of this length usually takes more than one day. The delivery date is agreed with you when you get your quote.
