From Longueuil, the truck takes Highway 20 east to exit 210, then Highway 955 to Victoriaville, the capital of the Bois-Francs region. The trip is about 155 km.

Victoriaville, which calls itself the “cradle of sustainable development”, has included the former town of Arthabaska and its residential neighbourhoods since 1993. Most homes are houses and small apartment buildings on quiet streets, where the truck can often park close to the door.

Highway 20 crosses Montérégie, passes Saint-Hyacinthe and skirts Drummondville before exit 210. Highway 955 then leads to Victoriaville in about thirty kilometres. Route 116, which begins in Longueuil, also goes to Victoriaville, but the highway remains faster for a truck.
Allow about 1 hour 45 minutes of driving, not counting breaks. It is one of our shortest long-distance routes: one day is enough to load, drive and unload, depending on the volume.
For a trip of this distance, good preparation saves time: closed, labelled boxes, emptied furniture and appliances unplugged the day before. Also plan your address changes and the transfer of services such as electricity and Internet.
If you are moving into a house with a basement or garage, tell us where to put the boxes and furniture that do not go in the main rooms: unloading will be faster.
