The route between Longueuil and Sherbrooke is simple: you join Highway 10, the Eastern Townships Autoroute, which crosses Montérégie into the Estrie region. The trip of about 150 km stays on the South Shore, without crossing the island of Montreal.

When leaving Longueuil, clear the driveway or the space in front of the door the day before so the truck can park as close as possible. In a tower in Old Longueuil or near the metro, book the service elevator and loading dock with building management.
In Sherbrooke, several neighbourhoods are hilly, and many homes downtown or near the universities have outdoor stairs. Tell us the floor, the access and the space available for the truck at the destination: we adjust the crew and equipment accordingly.
To save time on arrival in Sherbrooke, number the boxes and write the destination room on each one. Also list your large furniture and fragile items: the list is used for the quote and becomes the checklist during unloading.
Allow about 1½ hours of driving depending on traffic, plus loading and unloading. The route crosses hilly country: in winter, we adjust the departure time to the weather.
List the furniture in each room and what is in the garage and basement. If you are moving a student to Sherbrooke, group their belongings and tell us which furniture needs to be assembled on arrival.
On the older streets of Old Longueuil, space in front of the door can be limited. Check with the City of Longueuil whether a space needs to be reserved for the truck.
For an apartment, book the elevator if the building has one and tell us the floor and the stairs. Heavy or fragile items, such as appliances or a piano, should be mentioned in advance.
Downtown and the streets around Mont Bellevue are on slopes, with many plexes and outdoor staircases, so positioning the truck takes more planning. In Fleurimont, Rock Forest or Lennoxville, houses often offer easier access.
With Université de Sherbrooke and Bishop’s University, late June and early July are especially busy. Book several weeks ahead and check with the City of Sherbrooke if the truck has to park on the street.
