Île-des-Sœurs (Nuns’ Island) is part of the Verdun borough, in the St. Lawrence River just south of downtown Montreal. Its large-scale residential development began in the late 1960s with three apartment towers designed by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe; the first one, at 201 Rue Corot, was occupied in 1969.
Today, most residents live in apartment and condo towers, along with lower-rise condo buildings and townhouses. The Bell campus occupies the north end of the island, and the Place du Commerce area, near the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, is its main shopping area.
We cover the whole island: the towers along the river, the Place du Commerce area, the area around Place Elgar and its community centre, the streets near the Domaine Saint-Paul woodland in the south, and the offices of the Bell campus in the north.
We also serve the rest of Verdun, as well as LaSalle, downtown in Ville-Marie and the South Shore, including Brossard and Longueuil.
Highway 15 crosses the island: the Île-des-Sœurs Bridge connects it to the Montreal side, and the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge to the South Shore. The Clément Bridge links the island to the Bonaventure Expressway (Highway 10) toward downtown. Since July 2023, the REM has served Île-des-Sœurs station, on the line between downtown and Brossard.
In a tower, book the service elevator and the loading dock with building management, and check the time slots allowed for moves. If the dock is underground, ask for its height clearance: some indoor docks are too low for a moving truck, which then has to park outside. Some buildings also ask for a deposit or specific documents before a move, so request the building’s moving rules early.

As soon as your date is confirmed, book both our crew and the service elevator: elevator slots can fill up quickly at the end of June and in early July. During that peak period, our prices vary and each order is discussed individually.
Yes. The trip to Brossard is short, so most of the time goes into loading and unloading. If you are moving into another tower, book the elevator at both addresses.
